I LOVE Sprouts Farmers Market!

I drive about 15 minutes out of my way to go to my nearest Sprouts.  It's inconvenient but entirely worth it.  They always have the best clean, raw, organic foodstuffs and home and healthcare products.  And, they are usually at the best prices anywhere!  I have found several products on sale for much cheaper than other local grocers.  I should also mention Wednesdays are their double ad day each week.  You can combine the previous and current weekly promotions for ultimate savings.  Currently, I'm extremely thrilled about their 25% off sale on all vitamins and body care products!  There are a few things I've been wanting to try but didn't want to splurge too much.  Now is the perfect opportunity.  I hope you are fortunate enough to live near a Sprouts!!

Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt Popsicles

My sons and I ate our first Yasso frozen greek yogurt popsicles last night.  It was nearly 90 degrees in Texas yesterday, so they really hit the spot!  We tried strawberry and blueberry, but they have several other tasty flavors as well.  At only 80 calories per popsicle, you can't go wrong.  These babies melt in your mouth.  So yummy!!  What a great treat for the kiddos, too.  Healthy and delicious! Something you can feel good about feeding your kids when they ask for goodies. They have smoothies too. Take a look at their  flavors by clicking on the image below:

Dr. Bronner's Castile Soaps

There are no words for how much I love these soaps!  My only regret is that I wasn't introduced to them sooner.  They are simply amazing.  I wash my face with the peppermint soap each night, and it leaves my skin feeling like i just left the spa.  I mean, it is glowing!!  I cannot believe how much money has been wasted trying products like Creme de la Mer, only to feel like an idiot for thinking it'd actually work.  Hundreds of wasted dollars.  Not to mention, who knows what was actually in all of those products?  Dr. Bronner's soaps are organic and can be used for all sorts of things as listed on the bottle and website.  I found mine at Sprout's and Target.  I seriously want them all!!

Annie's Pepperoni Pizza Review

So I'm at the grocery store last night.  Just went in to grab a few natural face products.  But I soon realize I have spent way too much time reading ingredients and whatnot on all of the bottles.  Now, I have very little time to figure out what I can give my family for dinner that's quick but still pretty healthy.  We have some picky eaters.  I was about to cave and just get our normal pizza, not knowing what else would satisfy them all on such short notice.  I was pleased to see Annie's pizzas on the shelf at my local Target.  I didn't even know Annie's made pizzas!  My boys are very fond of many of the Annie's Homegrown products, so it's no surprise they loved this pizza!  And, naturally, mommy couldn't resist a slice either.  I had planned on only taking a bite to see what it tasted like, but wow.  It was really, really good.  It tasted like real, fresh, tomato sauce.  The crust was superb as well.  So that was my guilty pleasure for awhile.  I'm still shocked at how great it was.  My sons were happy too because mommy didn't feel so bad for feeding it to them.  I still prefer making our own little pizzas, so we know exactly what went into them, but I would definitely buy Annie's again in the future.

Welcome!

Just wanted to say hi!  My name is Mendy.  I'm 29 years young.  Married.  Two sons, Hayden, 7, and Blaine, 5.  We live in Texas with our little farm... (we live in the city, but hope to move to a farm someday) 4 dogs, 3 Chinese water dragons, 5 chickens, a fish tank, and a parakeet.  My husband also has an aquaponics system set up in our backyard that he built himself, which has several fish in it.

Anyway, I'm hoping this blog is the beginning of great things to come!

Naturally,

Mendy.
